Our explorers traveled deep onto the beautiful rural farm country of innermost Belgium in search of a doctor who settled there from the Far East. The farmers there said this doctor had brewed White Farmhouse IPA that had the local brew masters bending over and singing “Moon River”.
we believe the Dr. was Krunkles! The complex Belgian Witbier recipe locals still speak of used the yeast of a Farmhouse Ale and the hop profile of an American IPA. The Doctors twisted touch was a dash of white peppercorn…some said it had medicinal properties. The beer was then wood aged on white ash. What was the doctor up to…we may never know but the people of this rural farm valley are exceptionally healthy and robust to this day. Coincidence…we think not!
