2:00pm Leavening, Tenderizing, and Flavor-Building: Tips, tricks and watch outs for Cooking with Beer with Mark Crouch
Mark Crouch is the Operations Manager for the Terrapin ATL Brew Lab at SunTrust Park. He entered the Beer Industry in 2006 as a Sales Analyst for Miller Brewing Co. in Milwaukee and held numerous roles at MillerCoors including Chain Account Exec, Learning & Development Specialist, and Tenth and Blake Southeast Region Trade Brewer. Crouch is a Certified Cicerone, avid home brewer and Dad Joke enthusiast.
2:45pm Barrel Aged Beers with Brandon Stull
Brandon Stull is the head brewer at Terrapin Beer Co, and has been brewing here in Athens since 2006. He is a lovable curmudgeon, and leader of movements such as “Purple Shirt Friday” and “Hawaiian Shirt Hump Day” at the brewery. Check out his Terrapin Tribe Profile.
3:30pm Why Beer is More Complicated Than Wine with Owen Ogletree
Owen Ogletree is a craft beer writer, founder/editor of www.Brewtopia.Info, columnist for Southern Brew News, lecturer at South College’s Professional Brewing Science Program, founder/director of the Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting and Classic City Brew Fest, a BJCP National Beer Judge and judge at the Great American Beer Festival and Great British Beer Festival.
4:15pm All About Cryo Hops with Kevin Lowe
Kevin Lowe is the Southeast Territory Sales Manager at Country Malt Group. He worked previously at both SweetWater Brewing Company and Highland Brewing in logistics. He then moved on to Brewcraft USA as a territory manager before moving into Country Malt covering the Southeast.
