Come out to the Brewery for a fun filled afternoon and help us celebrate 10 years of Terrapin Beer! We’re partnering with local charities to have some FUN-raising activities including a beer filled dunk-tank, carnival snacks, and a “tattoo parlor” among other surprises. There will be 10 casks, a barrel aged beer tent and a very special anniversary ale.

The annual fundraiser for the ta-ta’s is here again at the brewery with tons of bands and fun!

Local music from Bloodkin, Kyshona Armstrong, Betsy Franck and the Bareknuckle Band, John Keane, Mark Cunningham and the Nationals, 90 Acre Farm, efren, Chris Moore, Clay Leverett, Dodd Ferrelle, Granfalloons and more!

Food from local restaurants including: 5 Star Day, Amici’s, Barberitos, Bretts, Georgia Theater Rooftop, Sisters Creole, and Square One!

Kids activities, raffles, huge silent auction, breast health information, and awesome merchandise!

Local brave people will shave their heads to raise $500 a piece from their friends and family who want to see them do it!

Terrapin Beer mention…beer of choice at B52′s Concert

Unsurprisingly, it was also a tribute night of sorts to Athens itself. From local upstarts Tunabunny, who were recommended as an opener to Schneider by the folks at legendary local record store Wuxtry, to the local Terrapin Beer Company brews flowing in and out of flimsy plastic cups, to the “sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name” vibe of the crowd itself. The whole event practically screamed “quintessential college town.”

Love Shack Bus Stop Release Party!

The whole brewery will be a movin’ and a groovin’ in celebration of Athens’ own Love Shack Bus Stop! Come on by and meet the artist, Dana Jo Cooley, who created this “whimsical, lace-underwear-filled structure” in homage to the B52′S hit song “Love Shack”. There will be “tours” of the actual stop on the Swerving Dogs Big Red Bus, live music by the Subliminators & Love Tractor, and a Love Potion Cask that Spike has worked up. Start your Valentines week off with Terrapin… Glitter on the Tour Baby!

Mardi Gras 10K

This is a 10K starting and finishing here at the brewery to benefit the Stable Foundation and Bigger Vision, two local organizations geared towards helping the Athens’ homeless population. Registration is $35 online and ends 11:59pm Febuary 2nd. You can still register on race day though please try to sign-up online.

LUPULIN LADIES is the Terrapin Beer Co. women tasting group. We get together about once a month to explore some aspect of the craft beer experience via a flight of 5-6 beers. We have found it to be a great opportunity to learn more about beer and each other.
