What did it take to get the Terrapin / Left Hand Depth Charge Espresso Milk Stout into the hands and mouths of the public? Writer Owen Ogletree hit the road with Terrapin’s Dustin Watts and Chris Lennert of Land Hand Brewing Company to find out.
The collaborative beer companies celebrated the Depth Charge with an East Coast beer dinner series from October 26 to 29, 2009. Owen followed craft beer evangelists Dustin and Chris through treacherous traffic and unwieldy weather from Atlanta to Philadelphia for four feasts at Taco Maco, Atlanta, Lindbergh Station; Tyler’s Restaurant & Taproom, Durham, NC; Mekong Restaurant, Richmond, VA; and Monk’s Cafe, Philadelphia.
